Also, libgutenprint 5.0rc1 is out and it has some very nice improvements over libgimpprint.  libgimpprint in 10.0 is 4.2.7 - I'm hoping libgutenprint can replace libgimpprint in SUSE 10.1, it would go a long ways to improving printing in some areas while (hopefully) being a drop-in replacement.

As far as I know there is no Gutenprint release yet
(it is still in "release candidate" state).

I reassign it as enhancement request for Suse Linux 10.1
to our Gimp-Print maintainer.

We will replace gimp-print, as soon as gutenprint gets released as a final (stable) version.
As this gets done more or less automatically, I don't close it with LATER. Instead I close it with WONTFIX, to avoid reminding e-mails in the future. This means _not_ that we WONTFIX. Its only done because of the overhead in any other case. Thanks for understanding.
