The Acer Aspire 5000 touchpad driver is buggy.  Left clicks sometimes register as the button is being depressed and sometimes after it is released.  This makes it very difficult to move windows and scrollbars.  I've tested the computer with a mouse and everything works as it should.

Note: The Aspire 5000 appears to be somewhat rare at the moment and is related to the more common Aspire 3000.
