Description Jeff Green 2006-01-13 20:58:53 UTC
(uhh, where are we supposed to report bugs for 9.3 ???? ? ??)

cron-4.1-20 (for 9.3) has a temp file bug which can be triggered by
setting /tmp as a symlink to another partition:

/tmp -> /u/tmp

Once you do this crontab -e fails to detect and commit changes. There's a
redhat bug report and update available:

Comment 1 Christian Boltz 2006-01-15 22:30:24 UTC
reproducable on SUSE Linux 10.0 final (/tmp symlinked to /home/tmp)
Comment 2 Mads Martin Joergensen 2006-01-16 11:55:51 UTC
Fixed in STABLE
Comment 3 Christian Boltz 2007-03-05 23:15:15 UTC
even if I'm late: VERIFIED in 10.2 final
