Description Chumsoben Leang 2006-01-17 13:20:36 UTC
I have some question regarding to OpenOffice. Our project have also translated
OpenOffice and we want to put it in SuSE 10.1. If I'm not confused, SuSE
builds its own OpenOffice and language pack, so how can we have Khmer
language pack in SuSE?
Comment 1 Petr Mladek 2006-01-17 17:04:29 UTC
Andreas, do you want to move this as a feature for SL 10.2?
Comment 2 Andreas Jaeger 2006-01-17 19:24:33 UTC
Please get the translations into the official OpenOffice.Org package, we will take it then for 10.2 from the official place.

I understand that it is difficult to add something after feature freeze but Khmer is already in the OpenOffice.org official source, fully localised (help included).
Having it in 10.2 is OK, having it in 10.1 would be great.
Comment 4 Andreas Jaeger 2006-01-18 11:12:51 UTC
Ok, let's add it - note it will only be part of the ftp distribution, not of the ISOs due to space issues.
Comment 5 Petr Mladek 2006-01-20 15:22:42 UTC
I added the Khmer localization of OOo. It should be ready for 10.1-beta2. However, it is not usable because the Khmer locale is not configured in our X-server.

I'll close this bug for now. The problem with the locale is reported in the bug #144397.
