Description Andreas Kleen 2006-01-21 02:12:13 UTC
It's in SLES10, but not in OSS10.1beta1. CPL is free so putting
it into the OSS version should be ok. And it's nasty to have different kshs
between 10.1 and SLES10.
Comment 1 Dr. Werner Fink 2006-01-21 12:48:23 UTC
This is not my problem, I'm only the maintainer of ksh.
Comment 2 Andreas Jaeger 2006-01-21 15:11:17 UTC
It's on CD2:

./CD2/suse/i586/pdksh-5.2.14-793.i586.rpm

It's just not installed by default.
Comment 3 Andreas Kleen 2006-01-21 17:25:14 UTC
No, that's the old pdksh, not the AT&T ksh (which is called ksh/ksh-devel). The SLES release notes say explicitely that AT&T ksh replaces pdksh (which makes sense). So OSS Suse should follow to be consistent - it doesn't make sense to be incompatible
in such a fundamental thing.

Comment 4 Andreas Jaeger 2006-01-21 18:40:50 UTC
Now I see.

Rudi, please replace pdksh by ksh on the SUSE Linux media.
Comment 5 Ruediger Oertel 2006-01-24 11:25:49 UTC
done.
