Description Forgotten User 7L3tOtZIov 2006-01-21 15:28:53 UTC
During the installation an unexprienced user has some difficulty to find where to change the default keyboard settings. e.g. a Belgian Keyboarduser has to go to Expert and that is the placve he normaly does not want to go. Country and language settings should be done at the same place as time zone.

Feature request -> visnov.

I'm not sure if it should be in the same dialog, but it is possible to add it to simple part of installation proposal. But most users don't need it as they are satisfied with the default setting according to langauge...

You can select language and there is a possibilaty to select "Addapt keyboard layout to ..."
A button there to the keyboardsettings should be enough.
Comment 3 Stanislav Visnovsky 2006-02-01 12:24:54 UTC
This would introduce another way to invoke the very same configuration.

We've used to combine all timezone/keyboard and language together in a single
dialog, but stopped to use it because it was too crowded.
