The slide show while installation says:

Don't Forget to Register Your Software
  [...] When you're registered, [...] you'll be on our list of
  potential beta sites for new features and new releases of SUSE Linux.

This is pointless in openSUSE times ;-)

The mentioned text can be found in suse/setup/slide/txt/en/13_register.rtf
(BTW: This file is a HTML file - and therefore has a wrong filename...)

Still unchanged in current Factory tree - reopening for 10.2...
