In KDE 3.5 (from SuSE supplementary service), there is a control center module "network settings" in the group "internet & network". This module supports only SuSE until 9.1 - it would be nice to support the actual suse versions also. Well, supplementary service isn't part of the distribution, but this would be imho a good idea for 10.1.

this is not part of our default installation. No idea what it is, but some addon package like kdeadmin3 possibly. Please report to bugs.kde.org if you found out what component it is

kdeadmin/knetworkconf is now not packaged anymore.
