Strings are in translation. They come from susetranslations.po and will hopefully be back in time for Beta3.
Also occurs on Braz Port Beta 1

Re-opening this bug as it also occurs on the Italian version
Strings are in translation. They come from susetranslations.po and should be back in time for Beta4 for all languages.
Not Fixed for SCH in Beta 4
Karl, these menu strings are translated in \kdebase-SuSE\**\susetranslations.po file but the relevant Desktop files need to be updated with these strings for all languages. The "Personal Settings" string comes from KControl.desktop and the "My System" comes from /opt/kde3/share/apps/kicker/menuext/systemmenu.desktop.

I'll update lcn/update-desktop-files the next days and see what I can do in merging the susetranslations ;(
OK, I updated SVN now: msgid "Name(systemmenu.desktop): My System" msgstr "我的系統" "Personal Settings" is still fuzzy for italian at least - that was there before.

Not fixed for Trad_Chinese and Port_Brazilian, RC1 build. KDE still in English. When you change your language in YAST for GNOME its translated but not for KDE.
When the correct language is selected in KDE/Personal Settings then KDE will change language fully, except on YaST. The YaST language must be changed in YaST. So for KDE there are 2 actions required to change language - 1. Change language in YaST, 2. Change language in Persinal Settings. In GNOME however, just changing the language in YaST will change both GNOME and YaST. Can you please confirm that the 2 steps required for KDE is correct. The Help states that just changing language in YaST should change the language on the whole system.
if you never touched "KDE settings", Yast is enough. If you configured the KDE setting once, KDE will stick to it unless you change it - independent on the Yast setting.

Thanks Stephan. I've checked this on the RC1 build by chagning from English -> German -> Japanese and it all worked fine. Closing.
