Description Christian Andretzky 2006-01-23 15:01:47 UTC
In the past it was possible during the X installation / configuration with yast(2) / sax to enter a user defined screen resolution. For me the resolution 1920x1440 is important for example. Now this feature is missed an I have all time (each installation) to edit the /usr/share/sax/api/data/MonitorResolution file to add the needed monitor resolution. Because I'm sure there are many different monitor resolutions which are missing in this file, I would suggest to bring back the possibility to enter a user defined monitor resolution.

user defined resolutions are no longer supported because the X-Server
decided which resolution it likes no matter what the user defined. I added
your 1920x1440 resolution to the list so you can simply select it the
next time :-)
