The Headings, (Processor, Main Memory etc.) will be translated but things like 'Dell Computer Corporation ? Keyboard Layout ? ensure that it is the correct keyboard for the language you have chosen Mouse ? the mouse you are using should be listed. Partitioning ? For testing purposes we will be using a simple partition system: /dev/hda2 37.2 GB (for / with reiser) /dev/hda1 1.0 GB (for swap) Click on the Partitioning heading and check th e resultant screen. There is no need to go further as Partitioning will be covered in the YaST test cases. Software ? Some changes are needed here so click on the Software heading. Click the Change button at the bottom of the screen and ensure all options are translated. Click accept. Some Confirmation licenses may pop up. Click I Agree to any that appear. The Licenses will probably not be translated but the dialog buttons and headings should be. 6.A 'Confirm Installation dialog appears stating that YaST2 has obtained all of the required installation data. Press "Yes, Install" to commit to the installation proceeding. 7.The hard disk is formatted and the file copy operation commences. 8.9 The duration of the process is approximately 30-50 minutes, depending on the speed of your system. 10.Upon completion of the file copy operation, the 'Finishing Basic Installation' dialog appears. The system is rebooted after the fonts have initialized. Leave the CD in during the reboot. 11.The YaST2 installation program re-commences .A 'Confirm Hardware Detection' message may appear. Check dialog and click Continue. The user is prompted to insert the "SUSE LINUX Version 10.0 CD 2" CD-ROM. Insert the required CD-ROM and press "Ok". This will be repeated for each of the 5 CD's. Expected results: no error message should appear during installation and all packages install Actual results: error messages appear during file copy, and some packages fail to install - CD2: package gnumeric 1.6.1 - CD3: package amarok-lib-visual Workaround: skip the package installation to continue.
