Description Dirk Mueller 2006-01-24 13:18:31 UTC
gettext-devel requires libgcj apparently just because of one java based example thingie. wouldn't it be possible to split that or get rid of it entirely?
Comment 1 Philipp Thomas 2006-04-10 10:47:38 UTC
To be decided after CODE10.
Comment 2 Dirk Mueller 2006-06-14 08:12:15 UTC
its later
Comment 3 Philipp Thomas 2006-08-09 16:11:41 UTC
No, it's not because of one java based example but rather because of two tools
that are part of gettext-devel: /usr/lib(64)/gettext/gnu.gettext.DumpResource and /usr/lib64/gettext/gnu.gettext.GetURL.

I don't like to create a subpackage for two files but I wouldn't like to drop java support either.

Fixed for 10.2
