Description Mauricio Teixeira 2006-01-26 13:24:00 UTC
office:~> rpm -qa | grep evolution
evolution-data-server-1.4.1.1-5
evolution-2.4.1-11
office:~> cat /etc/SuSE-release
SUSE LINUX 10.0 (i586) OSS
VERSION = 10.0

After I hit the Send/Receive Mail button, it shows 100% for receiving 3 IMAP accounts, but stops in 0% while sending (using SMTP). I have 8 mesages pending on my Outbox. After a while, I get a window telling me that Evolution crashed, asking if I want to restart the application or close it. On the console I get the following:

camel-imap-provider-ERROR **: file camel-imap-command.c: line 180 (imap_command_start): assertion failed: (store->ostream)
aborting...
Xlib: unexpected async reply (sequence 0x1230b)!

This happens only on my office's laptop. I also have the same accounts on my home desktop, but there it doesn't crash. The difference:

home:~> rpm -qa | grep evolution
evolution-2.4.2-3
evolution-data-server-1.4.2.1-3

I guess those two packages with higher versions came from the supplementary updates (GNOME 2.12), but checking again they are not there anymore.

office:~> LANG=C rpm -qi evolution evolution-data-server | grep -i date

Addition: it happens whenever I try to send a new mesage, even if I don't hit the Send/Receive button.
