Evolution crashes while sending/receiving mail (camel-imap-provider-ERROR)

office:~> rpm -qa | grep evolution evolution-data-server-1.4.1.1-5 evolution-2.4.1-11 office:~> cat /etc/SuSE-release SUSE LINUX 10.0 (i586) OSS VERSION = 10.0 After I hit the Send/Receive Mail button, it shows 100% for receiving 3 IMAP accounts, but stops in 0% while sending (using SMTP). I have 8 mesages pending on my Outbox. After a while, I get a window telling me that Evolution crashed, asking if I want to restart the application or close it. On the console I get the following: camel-imap-provider-ERROR **: file camel-imap-command.c: line 180 (imap_command_start): assertion failed: (store->ostream) aborting... Xlib: unexpected async reply (sequence 0x1230b)! This happens only on my office's laptop. I also have the same accounts on my home desktop, but there it doesn't crash. Addition: it happens whenever I try to send a new mesage, even if I don't hit the Send/Receive button.
Hi Mauricio, Thanks for the bug report. As you can see, that this bug has been fixed in the later releases of 2.4 branch. Or upgrade to 2.6. Thanks. Closing this bug.
