Firewall doesn't touch this file at all -> mvidner
Network manager was proposed as disabled in the first place because the machine was not a laptop. The firewall change did not affect that. General NM policy is SLES: off, NLD: on, Box: iff laptop.
Tested and reproduced on more then one laptop. Do you need further information or more detailed logs?
Invalid bug description. Laptop seems to be not detected as laptop so it was deactived by default. This have nothing to do with firewall settings... Sorry about that. :(
Change to INVALID
OK. I assume that you will open other bugs for that. Please use the following to check what yast thinks about having a laptop: echo '`Read (.probe.has_pcmcia) `Read (.probe.system)' | /usr/lib/YaST2/bin/y2base stdio scr
