Description Will Stephenson 2006-01-27 08:52:01 UTC
Under 10.0 and older I could suspend my hp pavilion zt3000 to disk. Now, when I try to suspend with powersave -U or kpowersave, the suspend prepare routine appears to run, but when I would expect the system to actually suspend, it returns to the desktop.

I've got the machine here in 3.2.11...

dmesg after failed suspend, please.
Comment 2 Christian Boltz 2006-01-27 18:03:11 UTC
Just a wild guess: Do you have boot parameter resume=/dev/....? (See bug 133993 for details)
Comment 3 Will Stephenson 2006-01-30 07:44:42 UTC
Great guess, that was the cause of the problem. Didn't we have this for 10.0 too?
