Description Chad Groneman 2006-01-27 16:38:23 UTC
This problem does not happen with i386. On x86-64, boot off SuSE Linux 10.1 Beta 2 CD 1. If you use your arrow keys to move off the boot from hard drive option to "Installation", the function keys (help, More options, etc) no longer do anything, making it impossible to specify other boot parameters.

If you boot off the CD and hit the function keys first, they work, and continue to work after you use the arrow keys.

I cannot reproduce this. Sounds like a peculiar hardware problem.

Do F8, F10 or ESC still work?
