Description Forgotten User mbQyAD5r4K 2006-01-29 08:44:12 UTC
I have installed an updated java via Yast Online Update on my OpenSUSE 10.0. Since then everytime I invoke Yast Software Manager I get unresolved dependencies:

I guess I'll have to manually download and install the packages in question from update/.../rpm/ tree, however this should have been done by YOU for me.

Update - the culprit here is java-1_4_2-sun-src-1.4.2.06-5 which requires:
# rpm -q --requires java-1_4_2-sun-src-1.4.2.06-5
java-1.4.2-sun = 1.4.2.06-5

Unfortunately java-1_4_2-sun-src hasn't been released in the updated version 1.4.2.10-2.1. Is there a clean way to fix the dependencies?

Michael, thank for the bug report.
You are right, that sub-package is missing.
Reassigning to the security team as discussed with Marcus.
