On a small X Base Installation if i make a installation select for all of smart package manager rpms he should install additionally a package with pyexpat, if not the smart --gui can't start.

Sorry, please be a little more descriptive about your problem, because I don't get it. If there is a broken or missing RPM dependency, please name the package with the missing/broken dependency as well as the package the dependency shall point to. Thanks.

Just a quick clarification (I had the same problem):

Smart has a missing RPM dependency of python-xml.
