Description Thomas Braun 2006-01-29 14:05:36 UTC
I can't get my ralink 2500 WLANcard to work with 10.1 Beta2. I'm missing the kernelmodules rt2500 and/or rt2500pci. The corresponding paths are empty.
This card worked out-of-the-box with suse 9.3 and 10.0.

I did install km_wlan and kernel-default_nongpl.

The card does not get detected in yast-Networkmodule, although it is listed in the Hardwarelist of yast.
Got no idea why it does not show there.
Do you need any logfiles?

An internal api change of the kernel broke these drivers. It's already fixed for beta3.

No, driver is now missing intentionally. See bug 149141.
