Description Christian Boltz 2006-01-30 17:33:56 UTC
I installed 10.1 beta2 as update from 10.0 final.

After booting, my ipw2100 wlan card doesn't work - but it works after calling "rcnetwork restart".

The ipw2100 module and the firmware were already loaded before rcnetwork restart. I will attach the /var/log/messages section while "rcnetwork restart" was running.

I use traditional network configuration (no Network Manager because it doesn't fit my needs :-( )

Do you get any error message of rcnetwork when booting?

Comment 4 Christian Boltz 2006-02-06 22:30:58 UTC
WLAN should get 192.168.1.101 via DHCP, my router and DHCP server is 192.168.1.1.

In between, I updated to beta3 and still see the problem. boot.msg is also from beta3.
