Ironically, the solution is to keep the package from 10.0 (compat-2004.11.13-4) - it has no conflicts.

the missing package is on 10.1 beta2 (I think it was missing on beta1)

SUSE-10.1-Beta2/x86_64/CD2/suse/x86_64/compat-openssl097g-0.9.7g-2.x86_64.rpm
Comment 2 Christian Boltz 2006-02-01 18:24:19 UTC
I just checked the beta2 factory tree on ftp4.gwdg.de - and none of the packages are there :-(

Maybe they are (only) on the CDs, I can't check the CDs at the moment.

BTW: If just the RPMs were missing, YaST would complain because of "file foo.rpm not found". But it complains about depencies - IMHO this confirms that the package isn't even mentioned in the package list YaST reads.

I'll re-check with beta3.
Comment 3 Christian Boltz 2006-02-02 23:05:52 UTC
I just downloaded beta3 - the package is included there :-)
Comment 4 Christian Boltz 2006-07-13 12:12:18 UTC
Even if I'm late - VERIFIED in 10.1 final: package is there, no conflict shown.
