Description Johannes Meixner 2006-02-02 13:48:10 UTC
After a new installation of 10.1 beta3 (on caps.suse.de x86_64)
I set up my USB scanners but got access only as root.

As normal user "/sbin/resmgr list" shows only "/dev/console".
A "rcresmgr restart" did not change this.
But after "rchal restart" I got access to my USB scanners.

Perhaps bug #145934 was a related issue?

it is exactly the issue, yes.

Ah!
I expected bug 145934 to be fixed in beta3.
Sorry for the noise.
