Description Stanislav Brabec 2006-02-03 15:22:14 UTC
gnome-applets (modem lights applet) still require gnome-system-tools.

We need either patch of modem lights applet or fix gnome-system-tools (I have just updated supported distribution list):

shares-admin: bug 130165
services-admin: segfaults, at least on x86_64
network-admin: is empty, does not support "--configure-type=modem", requires by modemlights applet from gnome-applets.

The version of the modem lights applet that was distributed with gnome-applets up to version 2.9.3.1 does not depend on gnome-system-tools. The fedora package has a patch that puts this version of the modemlights applet into a current version of gnome-applets.

Should I extract that patch and port it to the SuSE package?

modemlights reverted to 2.9.3.1.

gnome-system-tools are still broken, but now they became a drop candidate.
