Description tarjei Huse 2006-02-05 21:29:56 UTC
Hi, we are trying to run Xampp in a Zen domain.

Xampp (xampp.org) is a simple package to set up a webaserver running the lates apache and mysql applications. We are not using the opensuse apps because we want to be able to run different versions of distributions etc on the box but with a common apache environment.

XAMPP is a staticly compiled package.

This is what we have found out:
With XEN running (domain0), LAMPP can be started on the box, but we can not create virtual domains(domU) after that.

but I can not create a virtualdomain (domainU)

With XEN running and a virtualdomain created,
LAMPP will lock up the box when started in the virtual domain.

So LAMPP will run on XEN just no virtualdomains can be added.

Any tips on this? Is this a XEN 64bit bug or a problem with static compiling we should be aware of?

This could be something with your static compiling.

Please try with our packages and if that fails, reopen the bug with enough details.
