The depth order in the pulldown menu in sax2 is as follows:

colors
======

16 (4bit)
16,7 Mio (24 bit)
32768 (15 bit)
65536 (16 bit)
256 (8 bit)

my suggestion is:

16,7 Mio (24 bit)
65536 (16 bit)
32768 (15 bit)
256 (8 bit)
16 (4bit)
