Description Ulrich Derenthal 2006-02-09 16:01:26 UTC
When I insert a CD while running KDE, a window asks me if I want to open it in konqueror or do nothing. If I select open, a konqueror window opens with the address "drives:/cdrom" (or "devices:/" or similar; I don't remember exactly, but it was a "special KDE address") and the error message "Cannot open ..., already mounted as "/media/Discname" (where "Discname" is the name of the CD).

I can then browse to "/media/Discname" in konqueror, which works fine.

Comment 2 Ulrich Derenthal 2006-02-09 17:47:36 UTC
The KDE daemon says: Titlebar: "Simpsons3 - KDE-Daemon"
"Ein neues Medium wurde gefunden. Was moechten Sie nun tun? Art des Mediums: Nicht eingebundener CD-Brenner"

I select "In einem neuen Fenster oeffnen"

It says: "Laufwerk kann nicht eingebunden werden. Die Fehlermeldung lautet: mount: Laut mtab ist /dev/hdg schon auf /media/Simpsons3 eingehaengt
mount ist fehlgeschlagen".

The address is: system:/media/hdg

sorry, but what you have is beta1 - please update to beta3 before filing beta3 bugs. Since beta2 subfs does not exist in the kernel
