On a Packard Bell EasyNote the boot loader hangs while detecting the monitor.

The reason is a sloppy programmed BIOS that jumps off to nowhere when asked for ddc data on port 2. I've changed the boot loader to take that into
account.

And, you can now optionally skip monitor detection - just in case.
