Bugzilla – Bug 149878
PowerDNS package does not have Postgresql support included
Last modified: 2007-02-19 16:44:17 UTC
The "pdns" package does not have Postgresql support included. Please include it in future releases as it is annoying to have to recompile the source rpm just to include something that is normally part of the base release of PowerDNS.
Created attachment 69093 [details] Updated PowerDNS Source RPM Here is an updated Source RPM (Based on SUSE 10.0 original) which adds Postgresql support. It also splits "pdns_recursor" into a sub package, and adds a startup script and default config file for it.
I have also noticed some instability of pdns_recursor on Opteron (Running SUSE 10.0) however have had no issues when running on i586.
Postgresql backend was already packaged.
