Description Stanislav Brabec 2006-02-10 15:42:09 UTC
From Christian Fredrik Kalager Schaller:

Hi,
Yeah, gst-register is gone, we do it automatically now (to many people
got issues due to the manual registry).

You might want to change the gst-register call in your SPEC file to
gst-inspect-0.10 (and send the output to /dev/null). That way the first
time ever someone runs a gstreamer app it will not spend a few seconds
generating the initial registry. But it is not really needed.
Comment 1 Stanislav Brabec 2006-02-14 16:50:33 UTC
Files from gst-inspect cannot be packaged, because these files are created in user directories.

Removing obsolete /var/opt/gnome/cache/gstreamer-0.10* from the file list.
