thunderbird crashes if text is deleted from end of e-mails

When writing replys, Thunderbird crashes, when text is deleted from end of e-mails. There is no problem, when I delete from anywhere else, but always, if I delete from the end (like somebody leaving too much from a thread, and I want get rid of it). I would put it serverty major, as everything is lost, when somebody has a several write windows open.
Please explain in a bit more detail how you exactly delete and when exactly it happens while the deletion. Just give us a detailed description how to reproduce it without we've seen what you do ;-)
It happens, when I reply to an e-mail. Thunderbird puts there the text of the answared e-mail automatically. As it can get rather long, I used to delete from it the unnecessary parts. I select text by the mouse or the keyboard and then use the 'delete' button on the keyboard to get rid of the selected text. If the selection includes the last line of the included e-mail, Thunderbird disappears from screen when 'delete' is pushed.
I wasn't able to reproduce it yet, sorry.
I tested it again in beta4, and here it's not always reproducable, but sometimes still comes. I was not able to reproduce it on PPC at all.
The crashin seems to be gone in beta6, but I will close it only if it does not come again in a few days of use.
It crashed again. But from 10 out of 10 crashes, when deleting from end of the e-mail, it's now down to about 1 out of 50.
It did not crash any more with RC1 and RC2. Which is the proper ending here? FIXED or WORKSFORME?
