Bugzilla – Bug 150193
multisync x86-64 does not include bluetooth support
Last modified: 2018-11-12 10:35:55 UTC
the multisync + bluez packages for x86-64 do not include the bluetooth module support for multisync. after installing the i586 packages - everything works as expected. Hint: http://de.gentoo-wiki.com/Bluetooth_Syncronisation talks about including bluetooth, irmc in /etc/make.conf to make multisync support bluetooth.
The multisync-irmc-bluetooth-0.82+cvs-8.x86_64.rpm should be on the media of SL10.0. I currently have no media available, but a grep over an iso here showed it at least in the CD1-directory of the DVD.
yes it is on the media and was installed, but somehow not available in multisync. so I tried to i586 version which worked.
Ok, thanks for the clarification.
Hm, meanwhile I looked at the packages but saw no reason why it should not work. Unfortunately all 64bit machines are currently used for 10.1, so this bug wil still rest a while :(
so now I am on 10.1 and have these packages installed multisync-ldap-0.82+cvs-25 multisync-syncml-0.82+cvs-25 multisync-opie-0.82+cvs-25 multisync-cli-0.90.17+svn-2 multisync-gui-0.90.17+svn-2 multisync-evolution-0.82+cvs-25 multisync-0.82+cvs-25 multisync-backup-0.82+cvs-25 multisync-irmc-bluetooth-0.82+cvs-25 multisync-kdepim-0.82+cvs-25 multisync-irmc-0.82+cvs-25 BTW gnome-bluetooth-manager finds my device (phone) I have removed my ~/.multisync directory still no bluetooth connection typ to select - its still grey. IR and Cable are available. (BTW works fine on i686)
same problem with the build of Aug 31st http://software.opensuse.org/download/repositories/OpenSync/SL-10.1/x86_64/ IRMC bluetooth is still "grey" (not available) for normal user as well as for root where can I look further?
reproduced it today.
fixed, won't make it into alpha4 but should be in alpha5
