Description Rasmus Plewe 2006-02-17 15:20:35 UTC
When rebooting either from KDM or as user from within the KDE session, I am asked for the root password. This was not the case with beta3, and is, given the fact that I could pull the physical plug also, rather pointless, I think.

Comment 2 Stephan Kulow 2006-02-17 16:05:33 UTC
about the point of it, look at #144356 - "it's been decided"
Comment 3 Christian Boltz 2006-02-17 23:52:09 UTC
"You are not authorized to access bug #144356."

Could you please make the decision more public? ;-) (as in CCing me or removing the novellonly flag?)

Currently, I must admit that I don't understand the decision and agree with Rasmus - but maybe I've overlooked something.
