When click the floppy disk icon in 'My Computer'(konqueror),a message box is popup,says`'ssas' or so in HAL is not exist,and the floppy disk data can not be accessed.

"or so" is not really helping. What is the exact error (in english)?

Method "mount" with signature "ssaa" on interface "org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" doesn't exist

was this a new installation or did you upgrade from an older version?

could you please post output of rpm -q kdelibs3 kdebase3 hal dbus-1

yes,I upgrade from Beta3,but all is ok:
$rpm -q kdelibs3 kdebase3 hal dbus-1
kdelibs3-3.5.1-16

Uwe readded floppies to fstab, so it's a duplicate now

I wasn't sure whether to reopen this bug or to create a new one. Sorry if I made the wrong decision.

In Beta8 this still doesn't work completely - but progress has been made.

Now in beta8 when I click the "Floppy Disk"-icon there is activity on the floppy disk and a Konqueror window emerges at the location "media:/fd0" - but it says 0 files, 0 folders - even though there are files on the vfat formatted disk. 

If I go to /media/floppy/ in Konqueror the floppy disk is mounted there and the files on the disk appear.

The exact same thing is the case on both my desktop and my laptop - both running beta8.
