Steps to reproduce the bug.

1, use a laptop with WXGA TFT LCD.
2, set the resolution to 1280*800
3, In gnome environment, start gnome-screensaver.

Bug Observation:
gnome-screensaver does not work under resolution 1280*800

There are multiple possible causes no directly related to screen size which have been fixed.  Please try in beta 5 or higher.

This doesn't reappear in Suse10.1 beta6.
