Since %post is executed before the old package is removed the X symlink gets lost during update.

I know and I already fixed this.

--> /work/src/done/STABLE/xorg-x11/xorg-x11.changes

- moved /usr/X11R6/bin/X and /var/X11R6/bin/X symlinks from %post
  to filelist of xorg-x11-server to prevent these being removed 
  during a package update
