The desktop is totally garbkled when I use 1680x1050 in WSXGA+ for the Philips Brilliance 200W widescreen monitor and login (into any) desktop environment.
See attached screenshot. And it gets worse with every switch of the desktop.

this bug report looks like shit... no usefull information about
the hardware no usefull information on how to reproduce no logs

- A patch to setup the display is available in stable
- some workstations using 10.0 has been hand fixed by me
