Bugzilla – Bug 152503
thunderbird crashes
Last modified: 2006-08-18 10:14:03 UTC
Thunderbird regulary crashes when clicking on the "+" of collapsed threads. It seems to only happen when it was running for some (long, > 2h) time. The log shows this message many times during runtime: (Gecko:7636): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: gsignal.c:2316: signal name `text_changed::delete' is invalid for instance `0x9cdf540' And when it finally crashes: (Gecko:7636): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: gsignal.c:2316: signal name `text_changed::delete' is invalid for instance `0x9cdf540' /usr/bin/thunderbird: line 137: 7636 Speicherzugriffsfehler $AOSS $MOZ_PROGRAM $@ Installed packages are: MozillaThunderbird-1.5-12, mozilla-nspr-4.6.1-12, mozilla-xulrunner-1.8.0.1-11, mozilla-nss-3.11-11.
Still happening in Beta8, nobody interested in it?
sorry, priority for this is low at the moment because more important bugs have to be fixed first. This seems not be a bug that exists for everyone.
no problem.
I've been using Thunderbird a lot recently on beta6 without seeing this problem.
Is this still an issue?
I deleted my chrome directory, but the bug still happens on 10.1 final.
Thunderbird updated itself to 1.5.0.5 by its internal update mechanism. Now the problem is gone, at least it did not happen since some days.
If the problem didn't happen again please close this report.
fixed in 1.5.0.5
