Description Michael Hopprich 2006-02-21 16:53:25 UTC
I have a number of programs written in Script Basic. Many of them call the "sort" command to process a file. These all ran without problems on SuSE 9.0. On SuSE 10.0 the "sort" may fail with an error such as *** glibc detected *** malloc(): memory corruption: 0x080c46e0 ***. Not every "sort" fails but enough do so that I can not run the suite of programs through to completion to produce the final (monthly) report. All programs have been recompiled.

Please supply a minimal testcase that allows us to reproduce these errors. Otherwise we can't do anything.

No answer in nearly two months, thus closing.
