Description Frédéric Jacquot 2006-02-22 03:08:47 UTC
Let's say you have a window on the right of your desktop for example, with 10 pixels out of the screen. If you switch turn a completely different desktop (the opposite side of the cube for example), when you use the switcher to get back to your window, it shows you the side of the cube which has the 10 rightmost pixels of the window.

In fact it always turns to the desktop which contains the rightmost pixels of the window, even if 99% of the window is on another side.

There should probably be a calculation to pick the side with the most pixels I think.

It should be turning to the closes side that contains any part of the window. I could easily change it to switch to the side which contains the biggest part of the window but I'm not sure that's better. Maybe this should be optional?

I've actually noticed this in the past as well.

I think the biggest part of the window is more appropriate. I get this all the time with evolution.
