Description Mihnea Istinie 2006-02-22 12:13:38 UTC
please either remove the yast2-iscsi-client from the selections/SL10.1 or add the openiscsi package to SL10.1

in the way it is now it makes no sense.
Comment 1 Stefan Dirsch 2006-02-22 12:18:32 UTC
Unfortunately there is no openiscsi package. Maybe the package maintainer of
yast2-iscsi-client can help here.
Comment 2 Hannes Reinecke 2006-02-22 12:43:35 UTC
The package is called open-iscsi.
Comment 3 Stefan Dirsch 2006-02-22 12:56:23 UTC
Andreas, should we really add open-iscsi to Minimal selection?
Comment 4 Andreas Jaeger 2006-02-22 13:18:46 UTC
No, we will not add it to the minimal selection - and ok to remove the iscsi-client from the default install as well.
Comment 5 Thorsten Kukuk 2006-02-22 14:27:38 UTC
You don't need to do anything here. yast2-iscsi-client should install the necessary packages if they are not installed, else it is a yast2-iscsi-client bug.
Comment 6 Mihnea Istinie 2006-02-22 14:46:51 UTC
well, openscsi is not in SL10.1
if it's a yast2-client bug, than reassign this to whoever is responsible
but it's still a bug
Comment 7 Stefan Dirsch 2006-02-22 14:55:55 UTC
Rudi, could you add open-iscsi to the media? Thanks. JFYI, yast2-iscsi-client
is in no selection at all.
