under KDE or GNOME? If on console: there is no automount anymore without KDE/GNOME.
KDE, when i insert stick, window with notification appear and open Konqueror in: system:/media/sdb1 This is right name (/dev/sdb1) but stick is not mounted and i had to mount it as root manualy). BTW it is very ugly that you need KDE/GNOME for mounting usb stick in my opinion.
Why I need KDE or GNOME for hotplug??!
to comment #3, today I read tha we have for this case ivman package.
Not even cdroms are mounted.
work in beta6 with KDE
Does not work with beta7 on GNOME (CF card in built-in card reader).
(In reply to comment #4) > to comment #3, today I read tha we have for this case ivman package. I haven't seen it up to beta8. Is it hidden that good, or is it still missing?
Was missing on 10.1 => added for next Beta. So I close this bug as fixed, now. Please reopen as blocker if ivman is still missing on next beta!
Closed.
