Description Andreas Hanke 2006-02-23 03:20:43 UTC
(This is for the kchmviewer-2.0-2 package in supplementary, not for 10.1 Beta which is still < 2.0, but Bugzilla doesn't offer a category for it.)

The current packages use a built-in copy of chmlib. Starting with version 2.0, kchmviewer can use a system-wide one and uses the built-in copy only if none is present on the system.

I suggest that a separate chmlib package is created and used for kchmviewer >= 2.0. This way, problems like bug 130751 can be avoided (or more easily solved) and as a side-effect, people can re-use it for other applications like xchm, gnochm etc.

Created chmlib package and changed kchmviewer to use it on 10.2.
