Bugzilla – Bug 153139
yast2-testsuite and yast2-devtools are missing in OpenSUSE
Last modified: 2006-02-28 09:19:13 UTC
The openSUSE release must contain yast2-testsuite and yast2-devtools packages, they are needed by 3rd party yast module developers and they are necessary for building yast packages from source code. (In SLES they should be part of SDK release.)
What openSUSE release? openSUSE is a project, no distribution. And I see both packages in the Factory tree. Are you talking about the CD-ROM media?
Yes, I'm talking about CDs. Beta4 (and Beta5 probably) doesn't contain the packages.
OK. Fixed it for next "Release" > Beta5: - added yast2-testsuite and yast2-devtools to OSS-CD#4 (I hope we're not running into problems with additionaly required packages ;-) - added yast2-testsuite and yast2-devtools for SLES-SDK already - NLD: no changes => not on CD @aj: is this ok for you?
addon: please point the 3rd party developers to: http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/SL-OSS-factory/inst-source/suse/noarch/
The files are small enough to add - if they do not have additional requires.
Primary additional requirements (maybe more in a second stage): - hwinfo-devel 1.7M - libxcrypt-devel 32K - liby2util-devel 435K
ok. nothing else found - all packages take place on CDs. => fixed
