How does one reproduce it? Does it depend on the terminal program used (I guess
it is urxvt on the screenshot)?

I'm soory. I don't remeber how it was in that case. I can't repreduce it either.

I think it comes from external applications that run in background
and writes something into terminal. It needs to check the extension file
and make sure that these apps are quiet.
