Description Andreas Klein 2006-02-24 10:50:29 UTC
I installed the machine (i386) from factory with the default packages selection.
After the installation I started YaST2 package manager and checked all selections.
Now the machine is installing kernel-default, kernel-smp, kernel-bigsmp.
In former this was different. Is it a bug? If yes, I will attach y2logs as soon as installation is finished.

Did you install the "NON-OSS" package selection ?
Comment 2 Andreas Klein 2006-02-24 11:19:12 UTC
Yes, I did.
Comment 3 Klaus Kämpf 2006-02-24 11:24:32 UTC
Well, this selection lists all kernels. ;-)

I can't tell you more than Klaus. If the non-oss-selection should include all kernels is discussed in #152118, you can add your comments there.
