Description Gerald Pfeifer 2006-02-24 14:36:52 UTC
Installed Beta5 from scratch, which enables SuSEfirewall by default and
tried to run SSH.

If the host I try to connect to only has IPv4 addresses, everything works
fine.

if the host I try to connect to also has IPv6 addresses in DNs, it takes
quite some time (and a connection attempt timeout, it seems) until the SSH
connection is established.

Once I turn of SuSEfirewall, or use ssh -4 for force IPv4, everything runs
smoothly.

cthiel reported the same, also with Beta5.
Comment 2 Michael Gross 2006-02-24 15:32:42 UTC
Gerald: Do you know the bug number?
Comment 3 Gerald Pfeifer 2006-02-24 15:48:40 UTC
If cthiel's issue? He didn't file a Bugzilla, but confirmed it to me
in person (on the hallway) that he saw exactly the same problem as I did.
Comment 4 Michael Gross 2006-02-24 16:30:07 UTC
OK

Ludwig: Assign it back if this is nothing for you.
