Description Christoph Thiel 2006-02-28 14:21:15 UTC
After installing NetworkManager-gnome I found a lot of:

(gtk-update-icon-cache:5736): GdkPixbuf-WARNING **: Cannot open pixbuf loader module file '/etc/opt/gnome/gtk-2.0/gdk-pixbuf.loaders': No such file or directory

in the logs.

I believe this is a bug in beta 5 where SuSEconfig.gtk2 is not run during install. This is possibly the same problem as bug #152108.

Running `/sbin/SuSEconfig` should remedy the problem.
Comment 2 Robert Love 2006-03-02 17:51:34 UTC
SuSEconfig.gtk2 running during install is fixed in beta 6.

Can you confirm that running `/sbin/SuSEconfig` fixes the problem?
Comment 3 Robert Love 2006-03-02 19:29:32 UTC
Or you don't have gtk2 installed, but that seems unlikely.
Comment 4 Christoph Thiel 2006-03-02 19:32:41 UTC
It was a default GNOME installation I was doing -- I'll try to verify on beta6 on monday. Stay tuned.
Comment 5 Robert Love 2006-03-02 19:37:02 UTC
Danke. I believe it is an installer issue and hopefully it has been fixed.
Comment 6 Christoph Thiel 2006-03-08 08:33:08 UTC
-> FIXED, haven't seen any errors lately.
