Description Michael Seiwert 2006-03-02 17:50:18 UTC
Hi,

I'm getting this errors after being online for several days (>2days). This does not happen with windows xp, so the hardware seems to be ok. The system gets unusable slow after klogd reports the first line of errormessage . The machine has to be cold started, rcnetwork restart doesn't seem to help. For me this sounds like a memory leak ? Any ideas ? I'm using orinoco_pci kernel module. WLAN NIC is a Netgear MA311, kernel-default-2.6.13-15.8.

Does "iwpriv wlan0 force_reset" command help?
Comment 11 Michael Seiwert 2006-03-06 17:45:55 UTC
I havn't tried this one out yet. I'll try it out next time the error occurs.
Comment 12 Michael Seiwert 2006-03-09 05:53:57 UTC
Errors came back after 3 days this time. I executed "iwpriv wlan0 force_reset" command and it seemed to work. Please see attached log.
