Bugzilla – Bug 154775
Beta 6: no graphics proposal in VMWare.
Last modified: 2006-03-07 10:52:40 UTC
When reaching the hardware configuration screen in beta6 duing a VMWare (Workstation, 5.5.0 build-18463) install the graphics proposal gives "ERROR: No proposal". Obviouly, the X-Server will not start after this. I later installed VMWare tools and let it re-write the X-Configuration. This configuarion will not start either. Attached are my y2logs and SaX/X logs.

Same here. IMHO this is a dupe of #148271. '/usr/sbin/sysp -s xstuff' still takes all the memory.
Same in GSX-Server.
