Bugzilla – Bug 155000
DNS Info lost on reboot
Last modified: 2006-03-06 09:19:16 UTC
In Systems with a network card AsusTek Marvell 88E8053 (and 64 bit cpu), the DNS information is lost every time that the system is rebooted! The resolv.conf file is deleted and replaced by an empty one (created by the Network Manager)
Sounds like a problem in network manager not kernel
What exactly did you configure? Please attach your /etc/sysconfig/network directory.
Created attachment 71178 [details] This is the /etc/sysconfig/network/config file This is the /etc/sysconfig/network/config file. Which other files you would like?
The OS is Suse linux 10.0 (Not 10.1)!
At first please change both the OS-field and the `Found in version'-field.
If this is really Alpha1, try again bith Beta6 and reopen this bug if the problem still ocurrs.
